Fall is the time to take what you learned through your spring and summer seasons and continue to work on it so you can successfully keep growing your game! Designed to run alongside fall sport commitments, the CBL Fall Skills Academy guarantees future success by honing in on fundamentals, stick skills and lacrosse IQ development.

Fast Break / Monroe Sunday Night Boys Lacrosse League

Dates: Sundays Sept 25, Oct 2, 9, 16, 23,30

Time: Grades 2-4 is usually at 6pm, 5-6 at 7pm, and 7/8 at 8pm

Where: Monroe  - Field Site TBD

Who: Three Boys Divisions – 2-4th Grade, 5-6th Grade, 7-8th Grade

Format: 7v7 including goalie (minimum 10 players, maximum 12 players/ team). Each Team will be allowed no more than two long poles on the field at one time in the 5/6 and 7/8 divisions.  60 inch max length in 5/6 division

Referees:  All Referees will be NJ High School Varsity Referees

Management:  League will be supervised and run by Joe Garavente – Asst Coach Monroe HS, GMC Asst Coach of the Year, 2010, 2015, Director of Coaching Monroe Rec Lacrosse, Founder of FastBreak Lacrosse, Two Time NCAA Champion Johns Hopkins

Friday Night Skills Clinics


  • Starts Sept 23, runs for Six weeks
  • 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
  • In Thompson Park, right behind Monroe HS
  • Appropriate for all skill levels
  • Boys

Beginners  - teaching proper fundamentals, doing it the right way from the very  beginning

A couple of years experience - making sure your fundamentals are correct and acquiring the skills to get to the next level.

Experienced player - hone your fundamentals, learn the nuances of shooting and dodging

Come, have  a lot of fun and become a better player.

Equipment - limited sets of equipment available, please respond to this email you will need equipment
